The Nine Swords of the Sublime Way

Property: When making an attack roll or a damage roll, or when calculating bonuses using a power granted by the Nine Swords, you can apply the modifier of your highest ability score instead of the modifier normally used by the power.

Property: The Nine Swords can be used as Implements to channel the Powers they grant (but no other powers)

Power (Daily): Standard Action. The Nine Swords can change shape and become any Light Blade or Heavy Blade.

Special: To access the Nine Swords’ Special Powers, you need to be of the appropriate level, and spend a day in meditation and training at the Temple of the Sublime Way. At the end of this day, you must succeed at an Insight check, with a Difficulty equal to the Minimum Wielder Level required. (example: to access Victorious Destiny from The Blade of the Last Citadel, the difficulty is 28). If you fail, you need to spend an additional day in meditation, and try again, receiving a cumulative +1 bonus to your Insight check for every previous day you failed. (so, if you fail your check on seven consecutive days, you can try on the eighth day with a +7 bonus to your check)
